With over 30 years of experience in healthcare administration, medical billing, revenue cycle management, and multi-site healthcare operations, I have dedicated my career to helping healthcare organizations improve operational efficiency, maintain regulatory compliance, and strengthen financial performance. My background includes extensive leadership experience in home health, physician practices, specialty clinics, and healthcare management across multiple Texas markets.
Throughout my career, I have overseen large-scale healthcare operations involving Medicare, Medicaid, revenue cycle management, QAPI programs, accreditation readiness, staff leadership, financial oversight, and policy development. I have successfully managed multi-location healthcare organizations throughout the Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, San Antonio, and Houston while ensuring compliance with HHSC, Medicare, Medicaid, and industry regulatory standards.
My experience includes direct oversight of billing operations, accounts receivable management, accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, credentialing, physician enrollment, compliance auditing, and CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM billing processes. I have worked closely with providers, administrators, directors of nursing, and executive leadership teams to improve workflows, reduce revenue loss, optimize reimbursement, and strengthen operational performance.
In addition to healthcare administration, I bring over a decade of experience in physician credentialing and medical practice startup development, assisting providers with payer enrollment, operational setup, compliance preparation, and revenue cycle implementation. My background includes inpatient and outpatient coding, accounts receivable management, denial resolution, compliance auditing, provider documentation improvement, and operational oversight across multiple medical specialties.
Throughout my career, I have worked directly with physicians, administrators, nursing staff, and healthcare organizations to ensure accurate documentation, proper coding compliance, timely claim submission, and optimized reimbursement outcomes. I specialize in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding and have experience supporting specialties including Cardiothoracic Surgery, Gastroenterology, Hospital Medicine, Urology, Orthopedic Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology, and General Surgery.

My previous healthcare experience also includes working as a Data Entry Specialist in a medical environment, where I managed confidential patient information, processed patient charges, and provided administrative and customer support to both patients and healthcare staff.
